What was the most valuable thing you got out of CSL?
I gained the confidence to share my authentic self and friendships with amazing, supportive change makers.
Why are you passionate about sustainability?
My dad once told me that while he didn't regret having children, he regrets that this is the world that we will have to live in. When I volunteered on a wilderness reserve in South Africa and watched the sunset into a valley between two huge mountains, I decided that we didn't have to.
How did CSL play a role in directing your current path or project?
This program taught me that I don't need to fear not having a specific career goal or path. If I know who I want to be as a person, then the decisions that I make will be just the ones I need.
Why is leadership for sustainability so important?
Leadership for sustainability is important because there is an over-emphasis on leadership in areas of destruction.
What do you plan to do next on your sustainability journey?
Learn as much as much as possible, listen to my authentic self, find my boundaries and kick some butt.
What are three words you would use to describe the Fellowship Program?
Authentic, Discovery & Incredible!
