We need leaders who remind us to tread humbly because we're a small part of a bigger system.
What was the most valuable thing you got out of CSL?
CSL gave me a deep sense of confidence and belief in my voice.
Why are you passionate about sustainability?
I am a big lover of nature and the great outdoors, and am passionate about how I can encourage others to enjoy this too. I am deeply interested in the way that people interact with their environment - how they use it, love it, and come to care for it. I believe that we have so much to gain from knowing our surroundings and am driven to find ways to nurture this experience for others.
How did CSL play a role in directing your current path or project?
I came to CSL to learn how to use my voice to have impact in the work that I do. I learnt to trust in myself and the value of what I have to add in any context. CSL gave me a deep sense of peace in trusting in the journey, rather than trying to control the outcome. It broadened my view of myself and the world.
Why is sustainability leadership important?
We need leaders who remind us to tread humbly because we're a small part of a bigger system.
What do you plan to do next on your sustainability journey?
I plan to continue to pursue opportunities to widen the impact that I can have through my profession, and to continue to use my love of public speaking to be a voice for change.
What are three words you would use to describe the Fellowship Program?
Inspiring, thought-provoking, grounding.
