I clarified my values and purpose to see how I can best contribute to a better world
What was the most valuable thing you got out of CSL?
I clarified my values and purpose to see how I can best contribute to a better world
Why are you passionate about sustainability?
I had made a lot of changes personally to live more sustainably, but it was when I had my first child that I suddenly felt strongly that I needed to align my work with my values to contribute to enabling change on a broader level. I want to create a safe climate and a positive future for my children and future generations, and that happens through our collective actions now. I've changed careers and I'm now working to deliver sustainable energy projects in the not-for-profit sector.
How did CSL play a role in directing your current path or project?
CSL connected me to a network of inspiring sustainability leaders and change makers, and enabled me to clarify my values, vision and purpose to align my work with my values as I navigated a career change.
Why is sustainability leadership important?
We need new networks of leaders across diverse fields and roles, to lead collaborative change for a safe, positive future world.
What do you plan to do next on your sustainability journey?
I've just started a new role as Project Office Coordinator at the Moreland Energy Foundation (MEFL), so my next step is to set up better systems to help MEFL more effectively deliver sustainable energy projects to combat climate change on a local level.
What are three words you would use to describe the Fellowship Program?
