CSL have inspired me to make activism and change-making a fun thing to be part of

What was the most valuable thing you got out of CSL?

More than anything, the people I've met through CSL have inspired me to maintain my rage but also make activism and change-making a fun thing to be part of.

Why are you passionate about sustainability? What was the moment or event that made you decide to become a 'change maker' in your field?

My interest in sustainability was sparked at the Sustainable Living Festival 2007, hearing the guys at Beyond Zero Emissions outline a zero carbon future for Australia. I've since been working with the Greens and in my day job to make sense of how this could practically happen.

Why is leadership for sustainability important?

Sustainable outcomes in all industries and at levels of government is very much technically within reach. Leadership is the what will commit us to the grunt work needed.

What do you plan to do next on your sustainability journey?

Work in direct community engagement and empowerment.
