Gustavo Recaman
Waste and Resource Recovery Data Analyst, Sustainability Victoria2017 Melbourne Fellowship
I want to protect the oceans so I can continue to enjoy them as well as my children and their children.
What was the most valuable thing you got out of CSL?
I though CSL was only going to help me grow professionally, however, the personal growth I went through this year was enormous.
Why are you passionate about sustainability?
More than one particular moment is the sum of many but I love being in the ocean under the water. I want to protect the oceans so I can continue to enjoy them as well as my children and their children.
How did CSL play a role in directing your current path or project?
The program has given me the opportunity to discover a purpose to work for and the tools and skills to concentrate my energy on what really matters.
Why is sustainability leadership important?
We need more leaders in sustainability if we want our future generations to live in a world where humans and nature coexist.
What do you plan to do next on your sustainability journey?
I am getting involved in ore marine care initiatives and programs.
What are three words you would use to describe the Fellowship Program?
Totally worth it!
