Because people need to step out of their comfort zone to get the necessary work done.

What was the most valuable thing you got out of CSL?

I got incredible validation and compliments from the other CSL folk.

Why are you passionate about sustainability? What was the moment or event that made you decide to become a ‘change maker’ in your field?

I have always been 'green' thinking. As for being a change maker in my field that came out of the loss of my parents and a trip to a remote Fijian island.

How did CSL play a role in directing your current path or project?

By giving me an incredible bunch of people who support what I do. As I work on my own having the support of others has been wonderful to me. As just knowing people that care about the world and making a difference.

In 25 words or less, tell us why leadership for sustainability is important.

Because people need to step out of their comfort zone to get the necessary work done. There is a lot of necessary sustainability work that needs to be done.

What do you plan to do next on your sustainability journey?

Help all 29 schools and kindergartens on the Fijian island of Kadavu by continuing to set up libraries with donated books. Then move onto the more remote Lau group of islands in Fiji.

What are three words you would use to describe the Fellowship Program?

Connecting, Warm, Validating
