We need people who are willing to fight for what is right in the world, rather than what will be most profitable.
What was the most valuable thing you got out of CSL?
I gained more confidence in myself and my ability to create meaningful change in the world
Why are you passionate about sustainability?
My passion is for social and cultural sustainability. I can't pinpoint any one particular moment that pushed me to want to become a 'change maker', but it's been a combination of a lot of things - my upbringing in the country, family experiences, travelling through developing countries, being passionate about human rights. I can't imagine working in a role where I'm not striving to make positive change for people in my community.
How did CSL play a role in directing your current path or project?
CSL has helped me believe that I can back myself as I move forward in my sustainability leadership journey. I've also been reminded that the best things are yet to come. It's prompted me to explore new ways I can have impact in my life, both within work and beyond it.
Why is sustainability leadership important?
We need people who are willing to fight for what is right in the world, rather than what will be most profitable.
What do you plan to do next on your sustainability journey?
I don't know yet! I'm going to continue learning and be open to new possibilities and I'm excited about where that might take me.
What are three words you would use to describe the Fellowship Program?
Challenging, inspiring, eye-opening
