We need passionate and professional leadership

What was the most valuable thing you got out of CSL?

Feeling of contentment and confidence in my profession as a sustainability educator and project manager

Why are you passionate about sustainability? What was the moment or event that made you decide to become a 'change maker' in your field?

Living sustainably resonates well for me, as in return, I receive a wonderful sense of happiness and connection with the earth and all life. Time in nature provides me with moments of clarity and awareness. I discovered long-ago that each of us have several opportunities a day to make choices to improve, change and transform the current systems we live in. This understanding of each person's power has motivated me to work for social justice, community empowerment and environmental sustainability.

Why is leadership for sustainability is important?

Sustainability is one of the fastest growing emerging fields. Unfortunately, conventional authorities are not providing the leadership necessary at this time of rapid growth. With so many people across the globe beginning to study, volunteer, work and live in this sector, what we need is passionate and professional leadership.

What do you plan to do next on your sustainability journey?

To continue implementing my business, SelfSeed Sustainability- Business, Home, Garden & Community Sustainability through event management, business development, PR, project management services and education.
