Alexis Clarke
Account Manager, Republic of Everyone2016 Sydney Fellowship

We need to create change immediately to preserve this planet for this generation and for generations to come.
What was the most valuable thing you got out of CSL?
I met the most amazing group of people who have become life long connections
Why are you passionate about sustainability?
I really believe looking after this planet (that we have the great privilege of living on) is the most important thing we can do. It should be given much more priority than it is. Even though this is so high on my agenda I realise that this isn't the case for everyone else I want to investigate this further.
How did CSL play a role in directing your current path or project?
CSL connected me with an amazing network of people who share my passions, interests and drive to create a better world. I am constantly inspired by these people.
Why is sustainability leadership important?
We need to create change immediately to preserve this planet for this generation and for generations to come. We need leaders to drive this and inspire others.
What do you plan to do next on your sustainability journey?
I am lucky that my job means that I am constantly working on projects that create a more sustainable future. In my personal life I am at the very beginning of planning a project to create a green roof on my apartment building.
What are three words you would use to describe the Fellowship Program?
The right people.
